The 33rd edition of the Small Satellite Conference has gathered worldwide companies and professionals from the small satellites industry this week in Logan (Utah, United States). Alén Space has been one of the event’s sponsors, to which its cofounder and CTO, Alberto González, has attended.
During this week, Alén Space has had more than 25 meetings with suppliers, partners and potential clients. It has been a great opportunity to show, once again, its services and products in one of the most relevant congresses in this industry.
From 3rd August to today, with the slogan ‘Driving a Revolution’, the Small Satellite Conference has analised the trends towards a mass production of small satellites and how big constellations deal with technical challenges.
Many advances in communication systems and in the ground segment have been seen in Utah to make a reality new missions in which a big amount of data will have to be transmitted. In the era of IoT and M2M communications, the new missions are challenged to process several terabytes of data by satellite and by day.
