Memorandum of Understanding between CubeSpace and Alén Space

CubeSpace and Alén Space announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) as a first step towards a framework agreement to integrate CubeSpace ADCS products (Attitude Determination and Control Systems) into the Alén Space portfolio of subsystems for its nanosatellite platforms.

Alén Space offers complete end-to-end solutions for companies and institutions that want to develop a business model or mission based on small satellites. Alén Space platforms follow a multi-provider approach integrating flight-proven subsystems carefully selected to comply with each mission specific requirements.

CubeSpace is a company specialized in ADCS products and solutions. CubeSpace guides clients from original trade-off studies, through mission analysis and performance simulation, to commissioning of CubeSpace supplied ADCS systems in-orbit. CubeSpace has provided closed-loop ADCS systems for more than 70 missions, and have extensive experience with small institutions and commercial constellation clients alike.

“This is a great step towards an even more unified industry. Through collaboration across continents, combining expertise of trusted companies world-wide, Alén Space is enabling more efficient production of high-quality satellite systems. CubeSpace aims to become the preferred ADCS partner for all universities, researchers and commercial clients, providing a comprehensive ADCS consultation/support service together with flight proven hardware. It is a proud moment for CubeSpace to sign this agreement with an innovative company like Alén Space. We look forward to the exciting journey we will walk together,” says CubeSpace CEO, Mike-Alec Kearney.

In order to provide the best service to its customers, Alén Space is settling key partnerships with international suppliers of hardware, software and services that will be integrated into Alén’s mission value chain. This agreement between Alén Space and CubeSpace will allow to provide an advanced nanosatellite bus for applications ranging from telecommunication to Earth observation missions.

“This agreement with CubeSpace will allow us to offer more complete and competitive missions to our customers. Cooperating closely with our partners is very important to guarantee a seamless integration of our satellite platforms at all levels. CubeSpace offers a great portfolio of ADCS solutions that will meet the highest demands of our customers,” said Alberto González, CTO of Alén Space.

Alén Space customers can benefit from this new collaboration from now on for any upcoming mission.
