Alén Space, co-organizer of the SSSIF 2019 in Málaga
February 22, 2019
The Spanish Small Satellites International Forum (SSSIF 2019) is a key international workshop that brings together multiple space sector agents such as designers, technicians, scientists, suppliers, developers and launchers. It will be held in Málaga on 7-8 March 2019.
Alén Space, co-organizer of this event, will have an active role in the Forum. Anyone is welcome to visit us in the exhibition area and learn about what Alén Space can do for your business.
Aarón Nercellas, co-founder of Alén Space, will present the first results of TOTEM operation in the SSSIF. TOTEM is the communications payload designed and developed by Alén Space team which is on board of Lume-1 nanosatellite.
Lume-1 is the fourth University of Vigo satellite, launched on 27th December 2018. Its main objective is to offer IoT/M2M communications, to receive data from fire sensors and UAV’s on Earth to early detect and monitor wildfires. TOTEM is a Software Defined Radio (SDR) for small satellites.
Reconfigurability is one of the main features of TOTEM. Apart from the IoT/M2M application, it has many other applications on board, such as airplane tracking (ADS-B), spectrum monitoring, amateur digipeater or S-Band high datarate downlink.
Do not miss the opportunity to attend our teammate talk and check first results of TOTEM operation.
