The Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre hosted the third edition of the most important congress of the British aerospace industry, the Space-Comm Expo. For the first time, the Alén Space team attended this renowned event where the entire supply chain related to space communications services is brought together.

The CubeSat Developers Workshop (CDW) held a new edition attended by more than 600 professionals and students linked to the small satellite and CubeSat sector. On behalf of Alén Space, the electronics area manager Aarón Nercellas, had the opportunity to give a presentation of the new modular platform, TREVO.

During October 27th and 28th, New Space España 2022 gathered in Vigo more than 200 professionals and 90 companies from the national and international space industry, under the motto ‘El camino hacia el liderazgo global’, and whose main objective is to move forward to make Spain a global leader in the development of space missions.

Alén Space attended IAC Paris 2022 as part of the Spain Space trade delegation (organised by ICEX and CDTI) to showcase its most important services. In addition, its membership to the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), the world’s leading space advocacy organisation, was confirmed.

The second edition of New Space España will be held in Vigo on October 27-28, 2022, with the aim of analysing the capabilities and challenges in the field of New Space. This event is organised by Alén Space and has numerous sponsors.

The 4S Symposium, an event organised by the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Centre national d’études spatiales (CNES), took place from May 16-20. Alén Space was as an exhibitor to hold numerous meetings with future partners.

The IAF and Sideralis Foundation are organising GLEC 2022, an event focused on fostering the collaboration of emerging countries in space, with the sponsorship of Alén Space and other leading space companies.

This February 13, 2022 marks the 10th anniversary of the launch of Xatcobeo, the first Spanish CubeSat, developed by University of Vigo’s Strategic Aerospace Group, from which Alén Space would later be born.

Alén Space has participated in a panel discussion at Expo 2020 in Dubai (UAE). The event aimed to present Spain as a destination country for investment in innovation and technology.

Alén Space has participated in the IAC 2020 as one of the 34 exhibitors that have had their own virtual stand, along with others at the level of NASA and ESA.

From 16 to 17 September, the ESA organized the eighth edition of the Industry Space Days. Alén Space held more than 30 business meetings.
